IGate Adjuncts
javAPRSSrvr 3.5 and above now supports a IGate adjunct application. This can be any application, but the primary use foreseen is for it to be used with an IGate application. The interface used between javAPRSSrvr and the IGate adjunct is IGateInterface.java This interface is open to anyone who wishes to write an IGate adjunct capability to javAPRSSrvr. javAPRSIGate has been written to this interface providing full gate capabilities with a simplified TNC interface to make porting to different platforms simpler than in the past. Currently there are interfaces for KipSS, AGWPE, Linux kernel ax25, and direct connect KISS TNC's in Windows, Linux, and other operating systems. javAPRSIGate Features:
javAPRSDigi is a full featured AX.25 digi supporting the No-Source Routing algorithm. It is an adjunct to javAPRSIGate and goes between the TNC interface and javAPRSIGate. Other IGateAdjuncts include javAPRSQRZ (callsign lookup) and javAPRSEmail (APRS email interface). Contact Pete Loveall AE5PL for more information. |
